A career as a Senior Data Analyst within the Financial Crime team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in advanced analytics applied to fraud risk management.

  Your role
  • Develop fraud risk management models, strategies, and business rules
  • Integrate strategies into production systems and ensure appropriate architecture
  • Monitor rules and enhance the analytics underlying strategies to automate and optimize fraud decision-making
  • Formulate recommendations to reduce losses, enhance customer experience, and optimize the operational handling of alerts
  • Participate in transformation projects requiring a high level of expertise and act as a subject-matter expert for business lines and operations
  • Represent the sector and the Bank with various organizations, authorities, or stakeholders to ensure proper coverage of fraud risk management issues and needs
  • Contribute to defining the strategic directions of the sector
  Your team

Within the Financial Crime sector, you will be part of a team of six colleagues and report to the Director, Fraud Risk Management. Our team stands out for its deep expertise in fraud, strong analytical capabilities, agility, and strategic role within the organization. Prerequisites
  • Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of fraud risk management and financial crime
  • Expertise in programming and modeling (SAS, Python, SQL, Power BI)
  • Knowledge of strategy management systems (FICO or other business rules engines)
  • Experience in transformation projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a constantly evolving environment
  • Leadership skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset
