1831 Job Purpose / Overview To provide professional, high quality engineering support to the HPC Project on behalf of the Plant Configuration Function of the NNB Technical Directorate and to ensure that the proposed design is compliant with UK regulations and context. Contextual Information There is an established UK-based New Nuclear Build team (NNB Genco) developing interests in new nuclear in the UK. The ambition is to construct and operate two new EPR's at Hinkley Point in Somerset. Each plant will cost several billion pounds to construct and at the operating stage will employ several hundred people. The Plant Integration team is responsible for ensuring the configuration and control of the HPC Nuclear Power Plant design to underpin the timely and effective delivery of the overall project schedule.
