Superb opportunity for an Operational Risk Manager to join a leading Asset Management Company with a significant footprint in Ireland across a number of business lines in a highly visible risk management role.

Reporting directly to the Global Risk Manager the successful person will have responsibility for delivering key elements of the international risk and control program. This is a varied role with oversight of key projects and change initiatives in a collaborative global team environment.

If you have strong technical risk management knowledge with highly developed interpersonal skills and enjoy influencing and communicating with senior leaders in a growing business, then this could be the position for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementation, ongoing development & management of the Operational Risk Framework locally
  • Review operational risk incidents and work with internal stakeholders for remediation and risk mitigation
  • Develop & Report Permanent Controls & Key Risk Indicators
  • Facilitate the Risk Assessment process with all business units
  • Prepare high‑quality risk management information (reports) for use by business units and the Risk management function, including reports for the local Risk Management Committee and Local Board of Directors
  • Spearhead the operational risk culture within the organisation
  • Conduct training xcfaprz on operational risk or compliance related topics
  • Project Manage new regulatory & business requirements as they arise
Key Requirements
  • Significant risk / compliance / audit experience at a senior level
  • In-depth knowledge of asset management processes & regulatory environment
  • Deep understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends
  • Excellent analytical, communication and influencing skills
