The client is seeking an experienced professional to join their Investments & Capital Markets Division for a large strategic financial project. The role focuses on financial & capital reporting and forecasting, involving complex data analysis, reconciliations, testing, and project management activities. Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree in accounting, quantitative finance, statistics, mathematics, economics, data analytics or a related quantitative field preferred, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience. Extensive experience using advanced Excel efficiently is required. Experience working with large data sets and relational databases. Outstanding quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Prior work experience at client or in Financial /Banking industry
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Ability to use SQL to query and display large data sets while maximizing the performance of workbooks. Expertise with financial statements and general ledger/subledger data is strongly preferred. Experience with implementing or modifying financial systems or applications, preferably related to accounting functions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Outstanding proficiency with Excel for data analysis of complex datasets, data quality validation, data reconciliations, and data transformation for inputs and outputs of forecasting processes. Create and maintain technical, process and data-related documentation. Support acceptance testing; create and execute test cases, reconciliations and regressions; analyze and reconcile complex test results using Excel and SQL.
