We are seeking a
Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst
with expertise in
capital management
and
regulatory compliance
for top-tier financial institutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data for regulatory reporting. This position involves working with various systems like
Excel ,
SharePoint , and
Power BI , with a strong focus on data governance and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities: Data Collection & Reporting : Design, develop, and maintain standard and ad-hoc
reports and dashboards
for
regulatory reporting
using business intelligence tools like
Power BI
and
Excel . Regulatory Compliance & Reporting : Gather and organize data for
FR Y-15
(US risk assets),
2052A , and
6G
regulatory requirements. Support manual
FP&A
regulatory reporting. Data Governance & Enhancement : Enhance data governance and reporting practices, focusing on
operational quality standards
and
compliance readiness . Data Extraction & Validation : Run reports, extract data from source systems, and prepare clean, accurate datasets for analysis and reporting. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in all reports. Trend Analysis : Identify data trends, outliers, and inconsistencies. Provide insights and process improvement suggestions to stakeholders. Documentation & Process Support : Document reporting logic, definitions, and processes to ensure transparency, repeatability, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaboration & Development : Support the development of
Power BI
dashboards and
SQL queries
under the guidance of the
Information Development Specialist . Additional Duties : Perform other duties as required by the department.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience Required : 6-8 years of experience in regulatory reporting, capital management, and data analysis in the financial industry (preferably in
CAT-2/CAT-3
organizations). Regulatory Knowledge : Familiarity with
FR Y-15 ,
2052A ,
6G
reporting standards, and
risk regulatory compliance . Business Intelligence Tools : Experience with
Power BI
for dashboard creation and
Excel
for data analysis. Data Governance : Strong experience in
data governance
practices and ensuring the integrity of regulatory reports. Technical Skills : Proficiency in
SQL
queries and data extraction for analysis. Data Analysis : Ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, and root causes for data issues; ability to propose solutions for process improvement. Documentation : Experience documenting reporting processes, logic, and definitions to support transparency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of
InSync EHR
and enterprise systems. Familiarity with
SharePoint
for document management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills to document and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
