Join Our Team as an Orthopedic Physician in Ashtabula, OH!

Ashtabula Regional Medical Center (ARMC), located in the heart of Ashtabula, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated Orthopedics Physician. This 186-bed acute care community hospital, an affiliate of the Cleveland Clinic, is known for its high-quality patient care, backed by national recognitions for safety and excellence from organizations such as Leap Frog and Health Grades.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Practice in various settings, including outpatient clinics, hospital, and surgical blocks.
  • Collaborate with a team of 2 physicians currently in practice.
  • Cater exclusively to an adult patient population.
  • Manage a practice that is over 95% clinic-based, with less than 5% inpatient care.
  • Utilize onsite lab and X-ray facilities to enhance patient care.
  • Conduct patient consultations in 2-3 well-equipped exam rooms.
  • Work alongside a supportive office staff of 1 nurse and 1 receptionist.
  • Leverage EPIC EMR for efficient patient management.
  • Participate in a Level I trauma center.
  • Be available on call approximately 10 days per month.
  • Must reside within a 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate.
  • Open to H1B visa candidates.
Qualifications:
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.
  • Active Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Expertise in a variety of orthopedic procedures.
  • Commitment to relocating within a 40-mile radius if not already local.
  • Information on visa support requirements (J1 or H1B) is necessary.
  • Statement addressing motivation for seeking a new position.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Valid Ohio medical license or intent to obtain.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
