We’re looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, enterprise‑grade Azure platforms for mid‑market and enterprise clients.
This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role that combines deep Azure expertise with strong consultancy skills.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver Azure Landing Zones aligned to Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and enterprise best practices
Build and maintain Azure platforms using Terraform, including reusable modules and CI/CD pipelines
Implement core Azure platform services: networking, identity (Entra ID), governance, security, monitoring, and logging
Embed security‑by‑design using Azure Policy, RBAC, Defender for Cloud, and identity controls
Act as a technical authority on Azure platform decisions during client engagements
Support platforms through handover and early‑life support, ensuring operational readiness
Collaborate closely with architecture, project management, and service delivery teams
Mentor and coach other engineers, contributing to internal standards and best practices
Key Requirements
Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure in mid‑market or enterprise environments
Proven delivery of Azure Landing Zones or enterprise‑scale Azure foundations
Deep experience with Terraform, including modules, state management, and CI/CD integration
Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance in Azure
Experience supporting production Azure environments and troubleshooting complex issues
Confident communicator with experience working in client‑facing delivery roles
Typically 5+ years’ experience in cloud, infrastructure, or xcfaprz platform engineering roles
Nice to Have
Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab
Exposure to hybrid or multi‑cloud environments
Familiarity with Azure security tooling, SIEM integration, or Cloud Centre of Excellence models
