This document will identify the job that the Quality Assurance Technician performs and outlines the correct procedures that will ensure the safety of the employees and/or others, while preserving product quality and traceability. Scope
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all the products that are packaged in the plant are safe to consume and have the highest standards of quality and for ensuring that each product packaged meets or exceeds the customer's specifications. Personal hygiene and safety are paramount. Sanitation guidelines and GMPs must be followed. This includes but is not limited to wearing a clean uniform t-shirt, long pants and closed shoes/safety shoes, following all GMP, SQF and HACCP policies.
