Radiology Physician

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled physician to provide locum services in Flagstaff, AZ . This is an excellent opportunity for a radiology physician looking for flexible scheduling and a rewarding work environment. Coverage is needed January 19-23, 26-30, and February 9-13, 16-20, and ongoing for 4 weeks (estimated) .

• Case Types: General Radiology coverage for the ER with occasional basic fluoro cases, reading MRIs, diagnostic mammography, screening mammography, breast ultrasound BX, screening whole breast ultrasound, and biopsies. Procedures include ABUS, MRI BX, breast ultrasound BX.

• Setting: Imaging Center (Locums Northern Arizona Radiology, P.C./Flagstaff Medical Center).

• Schedule: Standard 5-day schedule, Day (8 hours) 8:00 - 17:00 (with 1-hour lunch). No call required.

• Workload: Current permanent radiologists read an average of 100 per day; locums are expected to read 70-80 per day.

• EMR System: Cerner (EMR) and Phillips (PAC).

• Board Certification/s: Radiology Mammography (BC required).

• State License(s): Active Arizona State License or IMLC (Required, Willing to License).

• Certifications: BLS and DEA required.

• Minimum Experience: ABUS, MRI BX, reading MRIs, diagnostic mammography, screening mammography, breast ultrasound BX, screening whole breast ultrasound, biopsies.
