Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

In this role, you will be engaged in a blend of outpatient clinic, hospital, and surgical block settings, focusing exclusively on adult patients. The practice is predominantly office-based, with minimal inpatient responsibilities, allowing for a balanced professional life. You will manage a diverse range of orthopedic conditions, including arthritis, fractures, ligament tears, and more, utilizing the latest medical technologies and support systems.

Schedule and Assignment Details

Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with the added responsibility of being on-call for 10 days each month. This schedule ensures a consistent and predictable work-life balance, while also offering the opportunity to engage in meaningful patient care during on-call periods.

Support and Work Environment

Work alongside two experienced physicians in a well-supported practice that includes a nurse and a receptionist. The facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including onsite labs and X-ray facilities, to support efficient and comprehensive patient care. The EMR system is EPIC, ensuring seamless integration of patient records and practice management.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery within 5 years of eligibility.
• Possession of an Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain one.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification or willingness to obtain these certifications.
• Strong proficiency in a wide array of orthopedic procedures, including joint injections and fracture management.
• Willingness to reside within a 40-mile radius or relocate to the area.
