Overview
The Data Analytics Department at our subsidiary services both internal and external customers to identify sources of data to transform into solutions. This is accomplished through statistical analysis of internal, government, and/or external data which results in findings and results to support the project mission. Utilizing knowledge of past and present government healthcare payment regulations and policies combined with ongoing research and learning of future healthcare payment trends, the Data Analytics Department identifies solutions and strategies to support the upcoming needs in the healthcare landscape. Primary Responsibilities
The Data Analyst II applies programming, statistical, technical, and analytical skills in the design, execution, and dissemination of reports and analytics. The incumbent will assist with proactive and reactive investigations and analytics in conjunction with our law enforcement, CMS, CDC and other customers. The Data Analyst II analyzes data to determine trending and outlier identification. The data will provide the basis for appropriate actions based on customer needs. Summary Of Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in statistics, mathematics, business, accounting or a closely related field One or more years’ experience in a data analyst role Strong analytical skills with experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and presenting significant amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy Experience in a position exercising independent judgement and decision making Demonstrated working knowledge of statistical techniques including the use of SAS, SPSS, Excel, MS Access, and related computer database Experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks) Experience acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases Ability to travel up to 20% of the time Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques preferred Experience utilizing Data bricks as a data analytics platform is preferred Experience utilizing Python as programming language is preferred Experience utilizing Power BI is preferred Work Location
The work schedule for this position will be full-time remote. Business areas reserve the right to require associates to return to the office as needed, based on performance or other business considerations.
