The Commercial Strategy & Analytics Manager (CSAM) is a high-impact role that bridges sales analytics, forecasting, and commercialization. This position partners directly with Retail and Private Label Sales leadership to ensure we win bids, launch products seamlessly, and improve decision-making through data-driven insights. The CSAM will support the forecasting process, provide analytical support for pricing and promotional strategies, and lead commercialization projects from ideation through execution. Acting as the connective tissue across Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain, and Finance, this role ensures Solaris Paper maintains speed-to-market, compliance, and flawless customer execution. Key Responsibilities:
Analytics & Forecasting Assist sales forecasting and demand planning support for Retail and Private Label channels. Analyze customer, market, and category data to identify growth opportunities and improve bid competitiveness. Provide reporting and insights to Sales leadership on pricing, margin, and promotional performance. Manage the end-to-end commercialization process for both branded and private label launches. Partner with Sales on private label bids, ensuring timely, accurate, and compelling submissions. Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional execution from concept to market launch. Product & Packaging Compliance Act as the primary liaison between Sales, Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and external vendors. Requirements:
5+ years of experience in commercial strategy, sales operations, or commercialization within CPG, paper/packaging, or related industries. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, data visualization, and/or forecasting tools. Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects with tight deadlines. Understanding of private label commercialization and retailer expectations. Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
