Senior Data Scientist

Salary: Up to 100k + bonus + full benefits

Ownership: You’ll take ideas from rough concept through to something customers actually use

Impact: Your work directly shapes how AI shows up in a live SaaS product used by enterprise teams

Autonomy: You’ll be trusted to figure things out, not just follow a roadmap

You’ll sit in that sweet spot between data science and product, close enough to the problem to shape it, and close enough to engineering to make sure it actually lands.

This is a senior individual contributor role where you’ll be building machine learning solutions that solve real customer problems.

It’s not just modelling for the sake of it, you’ll be working through messy data, figuring out the right approach, and seeing it through to production.

• Working with text-heavy data and turning it into something useful

• Partnering with engineering to make sure things scale and hold up in production
  

End-to-End Delivery: You’ll start with a problem, explore the data, test approaches and see it through to something that’s actually in use.

Machine Learning in Practice: You’ll work across a mix of problems — some structured, some messy — using the right approach rather than forcing one.

Working with Language & Text: A lot of the value sits in unstructured data, so experience here will matter.

Generative AI: There’s a growing focus on using modern LLM-based approaches where they make sense — not for the sake of it.

Shipping, Not Shelving: The expectation is that what you build gets used — so performance, reliability and usability matter.

• 6 years of experience building ML solutions in a real-world environment
  
• Experience working with text data / NLP
  
• Good grounding in core ML approaches (you know when to use what)
  
• Exposure to modern deep learning frameworks
  
• Comfortable operating with a bit of ambiguity
  
• Experience working alongside engineers and product teams
  
• You’ve shipped things before — not just experimented
  

Flexible across Ireland, remote, hybrid or office.

They get people together occasionally, but day‑to‑day is up to you.
