We are building a global team of technologists passionate about climate change and leveraging cloud and hybrid architecture. This role invites a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, facilitate continuous integration and delivery, and ensure system reliability.

What You’ll Do
Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring cost efficiency
Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Deployment Manager to automate and manage deployments
Establish and enforce security protocols, IAM policies, and compliance measures
Manage cloud networking components: VPCs, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, and interconnects for secure connectivity
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions for automated deployments
Optimize cloud expenditures through committed use discounts, autoscaling, and rightsizing
Skills You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Cloud-native application architecture and deployment experience
Proficiency with Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible
Strong experience with IaC tools, including Terraform and GCP-native Deployment Manager
Expertise in security practices, IAM policies, and cloud compliance requirements
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Google Cloud certifications such as Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, or Professional DevOps Engineer
Experience optimizing cloud environments for performance, cost, and scalability
Staying updated with emerging cloud technologies and best practices within GCP
Proactive and collaborative mindset, thriving in fast-paced environments
Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
Expectations Employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office per the bank’s hybrid model.

Salary range in Cary: $85,000 to $120,750. Actual salaries may vary based on qualifications. Incentive compensation is not included.
