About the Role
As the business continues to scale, my client is seeking to appoint an experienced Credit Controller to support the management and recovery of outstanding client fees. This role will play a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow while ensuring that all client interactions remain professional, clear and customer-focused.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage and follow up on outstanding client balances through phone, email and messaging channels
- Engage directly with clients to resolve payment queries and secure settlement of outstanding fees
- Monitor recurring and pre-authorised payments and investigate declined or failed transactions
- Work closely with customer support teams to ensure consistent communication and a positive client experience
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client communications and payment activity within the company CRM system
- Support the ongoing development and improvement of credit control procedures and workflows
- Identify potential payment risks and elevate unresolved cases in line with internal policies
- Assist with reporting on outstanding balances and payment trends where required
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a Credit Control, Accounts Receivable or collections role
Required Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle sensitive payment conversations professionally
- Comfortable managing a high volume of outbound contact with clients xcfaprz
- Experience using CRM or financial management systems to track communications and payment activity
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills
- Experience working within a financial services, fintech or professional services environment
- Familiarity with modern payment platforms or online payment processors
- Understanding of Irish consumer or payment-related regulations
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume client services environment
