Your RoleWe are on the lookout for a Part-Time Administrator to support our growing school community. You will receive comprehensive support as you step into this exciting role!
Key ResponsibilitiesAt ISP, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff to share this commitment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Promoting the safeguarding and welfare of all children, school adults, families, and visitors.
- Acting on initiatives to enhance the quality of life and well-being for children and the school community.
- Communicating effectively with ISP School adults and professionals from various authorities.
- Engaging with parents and carers through phone, text, and email.
- Welcoming visitors and managing school correspondence.
- Arranging and attending meetings, taking minutes as needed.
- Supporting the Head and School Administrator with budget management.
- Maintaining school documents using BehaviourWatch.
- Executing additional tasks as directed by the Head Teacher.
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
- Strong organizational skills with a systematic approach to workload management.
- Effective time management and planning abilities.
- Experience in developing systems and processes.
- Understanding of management information systems (a plus!).
- Ability to work within budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Knowledge of relevant policies and legislation.
- Confidentiality and the ability to work under pressure.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to relate well to children and adults.
- Extended holidays to recharge and refresh.
- Flexible working arrangements.
- Monthly group processes as a school team.
- Regular supervision and support.

The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS Check, which will be covered by ISP School.
