We are looking for a Full Stack C# developer with experience of Umbraco, who feels equally at home with both front-end and back-end development. You'll plan and deliver projects that are accurate to design, secure, fully standards compliant, technically flawless, within budget and which showcase the best of our capabilities.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of commercial experience, and whose skillset matches the requirements laid out below.
*The Role:*
* Previous experience of developing solutions using C#, ASP.Net and Umbraco
* Ability to deliver high quality, secure, fully standards compliant web solutions which are accurate to original design and technical specifications
* Excellent front-end and back-end development skills
* Ability to effectively scope projects and communicate your ideas, plans and approach with minimal technical direction
* Excellent production skills and time management with the ability to manage your workload according to scope and budgets.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with the Technical Team, wider business and, where required, clients
* Assist, or where required, take the lead on projects and deliver work to the highest level of consistency, accuracy and expertise
* Be a perfectionist when it comes to writing clean code and have an exceptional eye for detail
* Quickly grasp concepts and instructions with a tidy and organised approach to all aspects of work
* Be able to laugh, bring fun, excitement and inspiration to the Technical Team and wider business.
*Requirements:*
* Minimum 3 years commercial experience of C# for Web Development.
* ASP.Net, ASP.Net Core, Entity Framework
* C#, MVC, Razor, and SQL
* Umbraco
* HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SASS/SCSS
* Front-end Toolchain NPM, Webpack, Vite
* Azure DevOps.
*Desirable:*
* Experience of a JavaScript SPA framework (VueJs or React).
* SonarQube
* uSync
* AI technologies
* Previous experience of working within an agency, start-up or commercial delivery environment will be very beneficial.
*On a personal level, we would expect the following:*
* Eligible to work in the UK.
* Able to self-organise and motivate when working remotely.
* Be able to attend a monthly meeting on site in Edinburgh.
* Ability to deliver on time and to spec.
* Possess a great attention to detail.
* Understanding of the possibilities and constraints of design and development.
* Willingness to share and work collaboratively with the team as well as the wider business.
* Be able to laugh and bring a sense of fun and inspiration to the Development Team and wider business.
