What You’ll Do Teradata is seeking an experienced Interactive Visual Design Manager to join our Design Team. This role partners closely with developers, product teams, strategists, writers and editors to deliver high‑visibility, large‑scale digital marketing experiences across web, social, paid media, and event platforms. This position blends hands‑on brand design excellence with strategic thinking, cross‑functional collaboration, and the mentorship of junior and mid‑level designers.
Key Responsibilities Design Leadership & Mentorship
Mentor and support junior and mid‑level designers by offering constructive feedback, facilitating skill development, and elevating the team's craft and output quality.
Help foster a collaborative, high-performing design culture and contribute to improving design processes across teams.
Strategy & Big‑Picture Thinking
Contribute to and influence design strategy to ensure digital experiences support broader marketing objectives and user needs.
Partner with the UX researcher to review and analyze usability studies, behavioral data, and experimentation results, contributing to insights and turning them into meaningful design enhancements and strategic direction.
Digital Experience Design
Create visually impactful, on‑brand layouts for websites, landing pages, social media experiences, and event platforms (including Cvent for webinars and live demos).
Design intuitive wireframes, high‑fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes rooted in UX best practices and responsive design principles.
Ensure consistency across platforms by leveraging existing design system libraries and contributing to their expansion.
Systems, Architecture & Implementation
Build and maintain intuitive, scalable design, content, and media library structures to support cross-team workflows.
Partner with the development team to ensure that visual and interaction designs are implemented accurately and function as intended.
Build pages using existing HTML/CSS modules while applying creative problem‑solving and design thinking when components or resources are limited.
Who You’ll Work With
Work closely with product teams, content strategists, developers, SEO specialists, and marketing partners to define and deliver user‑centered design solutions.
Collaborate with multiple creative agencies (UX, Digital, Creative) and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and project direction.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
7+ years of experience designing digital experiences for enterprise-level organizations and guiding design teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field, or equivalent experience.
A strong online portfolio showcasing digital design, UX thinking, and multi‑platform work.
Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator; InDesign).
Experience working with Content Management Systems and workflows.
Hands‑on experience working within Frontify (or similar brand management systems) to maintain design systems, brand guidelines, and shared asset libraries.
Strong understanding of design systems, information architecture, UX best practices, responsive design, branding, and multi‑channel digital content strategy.
Strong mentorship skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
Comfortable with HTML/CSS and modular page‑building frameworks.
Excellent time management and the ability to flourish in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
Strong ability to advocate for the customer/user when creating and presenting designs.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem‑solving instincts.
What You’ll Bring
Experience in B2B, SaaS, and tech industry environments.
UX/UI expertise.
Fluency in digital accessibility and WCAG standards.
Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and user‑testing tools.
Understanding of SEO best practices.

Pay Rate: 111800.0000 - 139800.0000 - 167700.0000 Annually
Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on geographic location, internal equity, job‑related knowledge, skills, and candidate experience. Sales roles will be eligible for commission payments tied to quota achievement. All other permanent roles will be eligible for one of our annual incentive plans, which are based on company financial attainment and individual performance.
