Position: Nursery Room Leader

Hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday - Friday, All year round

Salary: £36,670.40 per annum

Joining Bonus: £1,000

Your Role as Room Leader

We are on the lookout for a passionate Room Leader to join our vibrant team! This full-time position requires you to work 40 hours a week, with shifts scheduled between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm. If you hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification, we want to hear from you!

Your Responsibilities

As a Room Leader, you will:

  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development
  • Support the holistic development of children, focusing on their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs
  • Assist staff in maintaining high-quality records on the EyLog system and child learning journals
  • Lead by example, promoting respect and consistency within the team
  • Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments
  • Maintain accurate records related to children and staff on the EyMan system
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor
  • Comply with the statutory framework for the EYFS
What You Need

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
  • Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years - Essential
  • Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position - Desirable
  • Knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
  • Understanding of the statutory framework for the EYFS - Essential
  • Fluency in written and spoken English - Essential
