The Work You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
Set up and operate
CNC lathes and/or CNC vertical mills
Program, load, and adjust CNC programs at the machine
Machine
high-mix, low-volume
parts
Select tooling, set offsets, and dial in setups
Hold tight tolerances on complex components
Perform in-process and first-article inspection
Work with a wide variety of materials and part geometries
Collaborate with a small, experienced team in a clean job shop

What We’re Looking For
Required
5–10 years
CNC machining experience
Strong experience with
CNC lathes and/or CNC mills
Ability to set up machines independently
Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
Comfortable holding tight tolerances
Experience working in a
job shop / high-mix
environment
Preferred (Not Required)
Multi-axis lathe / mill-turn experience
CAM programming experience
Experience with power generation or defense-related components
Interest in growing into a
lead machinist role
