About

Overview
Senior Product Manager - Sales Systems at Checkout.com. This role shapes scalable, auditable, and user-focused sales and operations processes. You will lead cross-functional efforts across product, engineering, and business teams to deliver workflows and tools that support clients pre- and post-go-live, with the goal of reducing time to live and resolution times while ensuring compliance. Responsibilities
Develop and own the Salesforce capabilities for all teams interacting with the platform. Enable clients to experience a seamless Sales and Onboarding Experience from the start of their relationship with Checkout.com, while ensuring internal operations are scalable and automated. Build strong partnerships with business, product, and technology stakeholders to generate momentum for go-to-market of new products. Partner teams include Commercial, Operations, Marketing, Merchant Care, Pricing (Product and Strategy), and Onboarding Product. Define and articulate a long-term Sales Platform Strategy with measurable business outcomes over a 3-year horizon. Build a fully automated and auditable Sales System to support scaling with confidence. Establish a clear prioritisation framework to drive focus and secure stakeholder alignment; collaborate with product and engineering leads to align with cross-functional roadmaps. Support global expansion through scalable, low-code/no-code pricing and onboarding solutions—reducing time to enter new markets. Become a subject matter expert on Sales, Merchant Care, and Marketing workflows; bring in competitive insights and explore innovations to improve internal and client-facing experiences. Develop a deep understanding of Checkout.com’s customers (end-customers, developers, and businesses) and build strong relationships across your network, especially with engineering. Foster a team culture that upholds Checkout.com’s operating principles and promotes collaboration across functions to enable end-to-end process automation with Salesforce Lightning configurations when needed. Qualifications
5-7 years of product management experience (required). Strong understanding of Sales Systems and Operations workflows, particularly how commercial teams interact with internal platforms. Hands-on experience with CRMs, ideally Salesforce Sales Cloud. Salesforce certifications are a plus, but not required. Familiarity with the payments industry is beneficial, but secondary to a deep understanding of Sales Systems and how they enable commercial operations. Data-driven: able to leverage data and insights to determine priorities and drive the product roadmap. Customer-first mindset with the ability to balance future opportunities with immediate needs. End-to-end thinker with understanding of all components needed for ongoing product success. Stakeholder management: able to navigate complex requirements and negotiate across competing priorities with multiple teams. Execution and ownership: hands-on, with a strong sense of ownership; collaborate across functions to ensure end-to-end automation; comfortable self-serving Salesforce Lightning configurations when necessary. Leadership: strong collaboration with product, engineering, commercial, and business teams; high EQ and influencing skills. Effective communicator who can inspire and simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences. We offer a hybrid working model and emphasize ownership, reduced blockers, and meaningful challenges from day one. If you require accommodations to participate in the application or interview process, please notify your recruiter.
