*Position Overview:* As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Roots Rehab, you will:
* Conduct thorough assessments to identify each child's unique strengths and areas for growth.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
* Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
* Maintain detailed documentation of client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
* Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to community outreach initiatives.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Assessment & Evaluation:* Utilize standardized tools and clinical observations to assess sensory processing, motor skills, and functional abilities.
* *Therapeutic Intervention:* Design and implement engaging therapy sessions that promote skill development.
* *Family Education:* Provide guidance and resources to families to support their child's progress at home and in the community.
* *Collaboration:* Work in tandem with other therapists, educators, and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
* *Documentation:* Ensure accurate and timely recording of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes.
*Qualifications:*
* Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
* Current Montana state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to design creative, child-centered treatment plans.
* Efficient time management and organizational skills.
* Experience with sensory integration and play-based therapy is a plus, but not required.
