We are currently recruiting for an R&D Engineer to join a leading manufacturing/engineering company based in Co. Mayo.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative product development projects, supporting design, testing, and continuous improvement within a fast‑paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support R&D and product development from concept to production
- Design, test, and validate new products and processes
- Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams
- Conduct technical analysis, trials, and feasibility studies
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Biomedical or related Engineering discipline
- 2+ years’ experience in R&D or product development within manufacturing
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Experience with testing, validation, and process improvement
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Desirable
- Experience in regulated environments
- CAD experience or familiarity xcfaprz with design tools
