Contract Duration: 6 Months (Day Rate)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a leading organisation within the Financial Services sector in Dublin. This is a contract role suited to candidates with a strong background in regulated environments, with a focus on designing scalable, compliant, and secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business and IT strategy
- Work closely with stakeholders across business, technology, and compliance teams
- Ensure solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements within financial services
- Lead architectural governance, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and frameworks
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Support delivery teams throughout the implementation lifecycle
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for optimisation
Required Experience & Skills:
- 5-10 years experience as a Solution Architect within the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR, risk, audit, governance)
- Experience designing enterprise-grade systems across cloud and on-prem environmentsStrong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced environments xcfaprz
Technical Expertise:
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Integration patterns and API design
- Microservices and distributed architecture
- Data architecture and security best practices
- Experience working on large-scale transformation programmes
- Knowledge of payments, lending, or capital markets systems
- Familiarity with Agile / DevOps environments
