Job Title: Solution Architect (Contract)

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: 6 Months (Day Rate)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a leading organisation within the Financial Services sector in Dublin. This is a contract role suited to candidates with a strong background in regulated environments, with a focus on designing scalable, compliant, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Design end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business and IT strategy
  
• Work closely with stakeholders across business, technology, and compliance teams
  
• Ensure solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements within financial services
  
• Lead architectural governance, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and frameworks
  
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  
• Support delivery teams throughout the implementation lifecycle
  
• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for optimisation
  

Required Experience & Skills:

• 
  
• 5-10 years experience as a Solution Architect within the financial services industry
  
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR, risk, audit, governance)
  
• Experience designing enterprise-grade systems across cloud and on-prem environmentsStrong stakeholder management and communication skills
  
• Ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced environments xcfaprz
  

Technical Expertise:

• 
  
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  
• Integration patterns and API design
  
• Microservices and distributed architecture
  
• Data architecture and security best practices
  
• Experience working on large-scale transformation programmes
  
• Knowledge of payments, lending, or capital markets systems
  
• Familiarity with Agile / DevOps environments
