About
Responsibilities
Drive business development in the logistics sector by acquiring new clients and expanding market share with existing ones.
Identify and pursue leads, schedule appointments, and deliver compelling business proposals to potential customers through various channels such as face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and emails.
Efficiently manage and track sales pipelines, promptly respond to inquiries, and maintain a proactive approach to engaging prospective clients.
Oversee the handling of Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and tenders.
Participate in client Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) to strengthen relationships.
Safeguard company interests by adhering to all applicable policies and regulations.
Collaborate effectively with various departments including Operations, Solutions, Finance, and Legal to ensure seamless service delivery.
Conduct market research to stay informed about competitors, carriers, and industry trends, ensuring responsiveness to market fluctuations.
Ensure timely submission of sales reports to your direct manager or higher management as needed.
Position Requirements
Educational background in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
5-8 years of experience in the Logistics and Freight Forwarding industry, with a solid understanding of sales and business development, especially in cross-border e-commerce logistics.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and management abilities.
Strategic thinking and proficiency in statistical analysis.
Adept at thriving in a high-pressure, entrepreneurial environment, demonstrating a willingness to get involved in all aspects of operations.
Fluency in English is required.
