POSITION SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
The Stone Order Writer is a middleman between overseas designers and customers. They collect redlines and black notes from both parties and filter the information before passing it to management team for reviewing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Review notes from countertop drafter and works with AIS cabinet team and/or customer to resolve questions/issues.
2. Attend shop drawing meetings with customer/cabinet subcontractor as needed
3. Use AutoCAD as needed to make changes to drawings
4. Use AutoCAD to create common area/local fab countertop drawings
5. Create sink template AutoCAD/physical template for special sinks
6. Work with Project Analysis to review drafting team’s building breakdown vs AIS’s
7. Work with Project Coordinators to gather up documents needed to create initial set of countertop drawings
8. Responsible for doing an analysis on sf estimated vs sf ordered
9. Work with Sr. Stone Order Writer on any cut to size drawings, packing list or ordering issues
10. Review cabinet drawings and countertop drawings to ensure overall dimensions are accurate
11. Drafting stone building breakdown to make sure align with arch plan

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities at once
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in the countertop/cabinet industry
• 1 year of previous experience with Architectural Drafting
• AutoCAD experience
• Good customer service
• High School Diploma, College is a plus
