We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners who have urgent care or emergency room experience, treating both adult and pediatric patients, to join our welcoming and diverse community of providers in the surrounding region part time or full time . Medical, Dental, Vision, 403b matching ~Paid CME reimbursement ~Eligible Bonus Value Based Incentive for daily volume ~Shift Differentials apply in addition for evening and weekends Urgent care Advanced Practitioners (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner) provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections. Functioning in lieu of or alongside of a physician, it is essential for an urgent care Advanced Practitioner to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary. ChristianaCare-GoHealth Urgent Care currently has 16 locations: Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants ~Master's Degree required for Nurse Practitioners Work Experience ~Adult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferred Active state medical licensure (MD/DE can be obtained) Work experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting ~Applicable office procedures including but not limited to suturing, splinting, etc. Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records ~Strong communication and customer service skills Essential functions are critical or fundamental to the performance of the job.
