Responsibilities: Creates and maintains 3D models and detail drawings for new/existing products to support production of ETO systems. Utilizes ERP system for Part record and BOM generation and production Job population. Develops and maintains a working knowledge of company designs, both past and present. Creates innovative design solutions that minimize customer downtime, are cost effective, and demonstrate a global vision for solutions in methods of manufacturing. Documents and maintains engineering procedures that reflect efficiency, accuracy, cost savings, and design for manufacture and assembly. Consults on technical subjects with product sustaining engineering, sales personnel, and other application engineers as needed. Uses appropriate calculations to develop robust designs and meet project specifications. Supports product, development, and validation engineering teams with CAD and other resources as required to facilitate product improvement efforts. Utilizes ERP and historical database to obtain application and BOM information about legacy systems Utilizes critical thinking to aid in solid decision making and creative thinking to find solutions to unique problems. Completes work per established schedules and clearly communicates progress of current projects Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to, the duties listed on this job description.

Qualifications

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering or related field Prior work experience in a relatable role preferred, but not required. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills along with the ability to find solutions without compromising company objectives is required. Ability read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings is required. Experience with Microsoft Office suite application is required. Experience with applicable 2D and 3D CAD for design activities as required (SolidWorks, DraftSight/AutoCAD preferred).
