Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer

Job DescriptionJob Description Summary: We're seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead a team in converting engineering designs into detailed part drawings. Collaborate with Sales, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing to enhance product development. Salary Range:

$90,000 - $100,000 per year (experience-dependent) Responsibilities:

Train, lead, and manage a group of 5-6 design engineer employees.

Proactively collaborate to improve manufacturability and productivity.

Guide engineering personnel in detailed drawings and bills of materials.

Control costs, enhance efficiency, and support ISO objectives.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

6+ years of relevant experience.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Inventor, steel plate, structural fabrication, and Microsoft Office.

Analytical skills to anticipate needs and evaluate business environments.

Proactive in resolving team breakdowns resulting from change.

Goal-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
