Job Title : Senior MongoDB Engineer - Infrastructure & DevOps

Job Type : W2 / C2C

Experience : 8-10 years

Location : Austin, Texas

Responsibilities :

8+ years of experience in DB Administration and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, including cluster configuration and performance tuning.

Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.

Experience with scripting like Python, Go, or Bash for automation.

Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture (a plus).

Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk.

Design, configure, and optimize MongoDB clusters for performance and availability.

Manage MongoDB architecture and cloud-based MongoDB solutions.

Automate and optimize infrastructure processes for improved performance.

Work with development teams to improve database performance and query optimization.

Collaborate in the implementation of Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

Utilize tools like Terraform, and Ansible for infrastructure management.

Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
