What youll be doing Lead and manage the mechanical design team, planning workloads and ensuring deadlines are met Develop and communicate design strategy for new and existing machinery Mentor and motivate engineers, supporting professional development and appraisals Oversee CAD systems and design documentation (SolidWorks, PDM, BOMs) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to agree machine specifications Provide mechanical engineering expertise from concept to commissioning
