Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Business Analyst

to join our team on a W2 contract basis to perform advanced, senior-level business analysis work. This position may support multiple projects simultaneously or be assigned to special projects as needed. The Business Analyst serves as the conduit between the program/customer community and the software development team to ensure seamless requirement gathering and implementation. The BA will be involved throughout the entire software development lifecycle, focusing on requirement management, verification, and enhancement implementation post-deployment. Key Responsibilities: Elicit requirements through interviews with customers and document well-written system requirements. Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team to facilitate communication and alignment. Ensure all requirements are clearly defined, well-documented, and implemented effectively. Oversee the requirement specification process and ensure fulfillment across the project lifecycle. Conduct business process re-engineering and software process flow improvement. Develop user stories and use cases that conform to business analysis best practices. Design mockups and wireframes that align with UX best practices. Maintain clear and thorough documentation to support ongoing system improvements. Support stakeholders in utilizing requirements management and issue tracking tools. Work Location: The primary work location(s) will be at In-Person, with the option to work remotely up to 80% of the time. The working position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework. of experience eliciting requirements from customer interviews and creating well-written system requirements documents. 8 years

of experience with

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 8 years

of experience in

business process re-engineering and software process flow improvement. 8 years

of experience in developing

user stories and use cases

following business analysis best practices. 8 years

of experience in designing

mockups and/or wireframes

conforming to UX best practices. 5 years

of demonstrated strong

communication and facilitation skills. 5 years

of demonstrated strong

writing and organization skills. Preferred Qualifications: 3 years

of documented work experience with the

requirements management software "Modern Requirements". 3 years

of documented work experience with the

issue tracking software "Atlassian Jira". 2 years

of documented experience working for or closely with

a state or local education agency.
