GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Network Administrator will focus on the completion of projects within the network engineering area in support of the company's network infrastructure. They may perform network troubleshooting, build and/or modify documentation, do installs, and general maintenance around LANs, WANs, Internet and intranet systems, and network segments including on premise and cloud network infrastructure.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Learn the concepts of managing an enterprise network.
•Assist with management of networking equipment to comply with the company security policy.
•Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
•Analyze and monitor network security and implement patches and fixes to address potential security holes.
•Configure and conduct network performance monitoring and troubleshooting to analyze and isolate issues.
•Learns, follows, and may provide input to department standards.
•Automate processes whenever possible.
•Completes project and support tasks with guidance from mentor and department leader.
•Work towards proficiency in quality processes in infrastructure processes and updates projects and tickets in JIRA.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
of study or 2 years of IT experience.
Other preferred skills and experience:
•Scripting preferred and experience in Cloud Infrastructure is a plus.
•MS Office experience is a plus
•High School diploma or equivalent
•Able to work up to 40 hours/week
