About the Position As an

Automation Design Engineer , you will be at the forefront of the HVAC automation system projects. You will be responsible for system engineering, drafting, and validating control system wiring for mechanical HVAC system installations. This role requires you to work closely with the project team to manage design schedules and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all control system wiring schematics.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

Designing and producing all control system wiring schematics and documentation for HVAC automation systems.

Monitoring and maintaining control system design standards and processes, focusing on increasing project profitability.

Coordinating with project teams, customers, and vendors to ensure alignment on design requirements and timelines.

Supporting field commissioning of control systems and ensuring the validity of design intent throughout the project lifecycle.

Maintaining accurate records of all design processes and system modifications.

Requirements

5-10 years of experience in HVAC automation system design.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an extensive background in HVAC automation systems.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design-related software.

Strong knowledge of control system wiring and schematic documentation.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills for interfacing with project teams, customers, and vendors.

The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail in design and system implementation.
