Cloud Security Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join our client's team on a day-rate contract basis.

This role will play a key part in strengthening the cloud security posture, ensuring secure architecture, and implementing best practices across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across cloud infrastructure.
• Manage and enhance Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and controls.
• Implement and maintain encryption strategies for data at rest and in transit.
• Secure cloud networking architecture, including segmentation, firewalls, and secure connectivity.
• Deploy and manage Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) solutions.
• Identify vulnerabilities and implement remediation strategies across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to embed security into cloud platforms.
• Ensure alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements.

Required Experience

• Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or similar role.
• Strong expertise in IAM, encryption, and cloud networking security.
• Hands‑on experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools.
• Experience securing large‑scale cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud‑native security services and best practices. xcfaprz

Certifications

• AWS Certified Security – Specialty (or equivalent cloud security certification).
