Exciting opportunity for a qualified electrical engineer with experience to join a highly established Electrical Design Engineering Team based in Kilkenny.
Role will involve producing detailed Electrical and Instrumentation designs for WWT Plants. The role will have responsibility for ensuring that all work is efficiently and effectively managed and executed within defined constraints, such as time and budget, and with due diligence.
The role will require strong technical skills, communication, and interaction with managers, engineers, internal and external team members, suppliers and clients.
Responsibilities
- Experience liaising with Electrical Supply Board (ESB)
- Design and selection of Instrumentation for Water and WasteWater process
- Evaluation of the client specifications
- Preparation of Electrical Technical Designs & Submissions
- Design of electrical distribution and general services
- Design and development of Electrical Panels including schematic review )
- Development of automation hardware and system network architecture
- Evaluation and selection of sub-contractors and suppliers
- Preparation of procurement specifications and quotation evaluations
- Preparation of FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) documentation and FAT attendance
- Working to Irish Standards, European Norm, Water Industry Standards (WIMES) & IEC standards
Qualifications
- Level 7 or Higher in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment industry preferable
- Highly organised and efficient
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
