Our direct client a large R&D focused global pharma company is seeking to hire for the role of Business Analyst - Strategy (contract) to work hybrid from their headquarters in Cambridge MA.
Job Title: Business Analyst - Strategy
Contract Duration: 6 months plus (possible long term)
Location: Must be living in the commuting distance from 650 EK Kendall, Cambridge, MA. Hybrid: 2 days / week from office.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an outcome-driven and versatile Business Analyst to join the Research & Development Data & Technology (RDDT) Strategy & Operations team to work closely with the Strategy & Transformation Lead. In this role, you will proactively support the lead in managing multiple strategic projects and programs, helping to incubate ideas, conduct POCs, manage digital products, and assist in developing strategies to transform RDDT's way of working. This role requires a highly proactive and self-driven individual with a product mindset who can apply critical thinking and strategic creativity to operationalize efforts and create impactful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development and execution
Conduct thorough research to pinpoint the root causes of issues and develop optimal solutions.
Incubate ideas and conduct POCs to validate concepts.
Assist in creating and refining strategy implementation plans for strategic initiatives, define vision, OKRs, timelines, and resource allocation.
Generate and present outputs that support and drive desired outcomes.
Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders to operationalize strategies.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for operational improvements and drive continuous enhancement of strategic processes.
Assist in ensuring RDDT projects and programs align with strategic objectives.
Product Management
Manage S&O owned digital products throughout their lifecycle.
Maintain roadmap, vision and OKRs to support RDDT teams
Engage in product management activities to drive success.
Performance Management:
Assist in ensuring RDDT projects and programs align with strategic objectives.
Measure success of strategic initiatives against the defined OKRs
Provide regular updates to the team on progress and performance.
Manage digital products throughout their lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience in business analysis, project management, or a related role.
Experience and strong interest in product management.
Experience with various strategic planning methodologies, frameworks and techniques
