YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:
The Reporting & Analytics Manager is responsible for leading enterprise-wide analytics initiatives, mentoring analysts, and enhancing data-driven decision-making across the organization and defining reporting best practices. This role requires a deep understanding of technical expertise, business acumen, knowledge of business intelligence, data visualization, and strategic analytics. Collaborate and partner with Business Stakeholders, Cross Functional Teams, and peers within Enterprise Technology to architect and design best possible Reporting & Analytical solutions. Partner with developers and program managers to establish timelines and ensure delivery of projects and requests.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Lead enterprise-wide analytics and business intelligence projects.
Develop and lead strategic analytics initiatives supporting business objectives.
Create complex data models and reports to improve data-driven decision-making.
Design, create, implement and manage enterprise-wide dashboards and reporting solutions (Power BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud).
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting frameworks.
Reporting: Responsible for creating and maintaining regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders.
Data Visualization: Presenting data in a clear and visually appealing manner using charts, graphs, and other visualization tools to communicate insights effectively.
Strategic Planning: Collaborating with senior leadership to develop data-driven strategies and initiatives that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Team Management: Leading a team of analysts and data professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects and deliverables.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics needs and providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
Data Governance: Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies, while also implementing data governance best practices.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to enhance reporting and analytics processes, tools, and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Project Management: Managing multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities, allocating resources, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
Industry Knowledge: Staying updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in reporting and analytics to continually improve processes and capabilities.
Data Analysis: Analyzing large amounts of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive informed business decisions.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Experience in managing and implementing Analytical platforms like OBIEE, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle ADW (Autonomous Data Warehouse), Incorta, Microsoft BI, Tableau, etc.
Experience in Data Warehouse, Data Lake and Data Lakehouse solutions
Experience in Project Management in Agile, Scrum and Hybrid methodologies.
Ability to communicate technical and business strategy successfully to audiences of varying levels of experience, background, and seniority
Excellent analytical, planning, organizational and technical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
Engineering and Construction related Industry Knowledge would be preferred
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position
Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures
Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
8+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data strategy
Expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Oracle Analytics Cloud (or similar platforms)
Strong understanding of business intelligence principles, data visualization, and dashboard design
Experience working with Agile methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Confluence)
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
May be a combination of training, education, and relevant work experience
TRAVEL:
Up to 25%
WORKING CONDITIONS:
General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.
