About
Dana-co, a leading design company of luxury intimate apparel, is seeking a talented and driven SEO Specialist to join our dynamic DTC team. This role focuses on enhancing our brand visibility, driving organic traffic, and creating engaging, high-quality content. Our three lingerie brands are scoped to grow revenue 2-3x in 2025, a major focus of this growth will be organic sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO, content strategy, and analytics, with a passion for keeping up with SEO and lingerie industry trends.
This is an in-office position, based in Midtown Manhattan.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2 years SEO experience
Proven DTC experience in SEO and content creation, preferably with a focus on fashion and lingerie
Shopify native SEO experience.
Familiarity with content management systems (e.g. Shopify, WordPress, etc.).
Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, and others.
Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and HTML/CSS basics.
Ability to create reports in Excel that utilize VLOOKUP and other comprehensive functions that compare large sets of data.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
Must have skills to reduce crawl budget, remedy site performance issues, and implement/troubleshoot structured data using a variety of tools
Strong research and analytical abilities.
Experience with email marketing tools (Klaviyo).
Experience with social media content and management is a plus (Instagram, Pinterest & Reddit).
Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content
Development: Create, edit, and optimize high quality content, including blog posts, landing pages, email stories, and social media (Instagram, Pinterest & Reddit).
Copywriting experience for well-optimized blog posts and social media captions.
Google Merchant Center listing
SEO
Optimization: Perform keyword research, optimize on-page and off-page elements, and stay updated on search engine algorithm changes to enhance organic rankings.
Planning: Ability to map out and execute a thorough plan to distinguish the brands in specific lingerie categories.
Website
Shopify: In-depth knowledge of site structure and capabilities for Shopify websites
Analysis: Audit website performance and implement technical SEO strategies to improve site speed, crawlability, and user experience.
Link-Building: Develop and execute white-hat link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
Optimize on-page SEO elements including meta tags, headers, internal linking, and content.
Analytics and Reporting:
Monitor traffic trends, track keyword performance, and provide insights.
Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
Develop a dashboard for easy understanding of organic growth opportunities for traffic and revenue.
Report on progress on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis and run regular website audits.
Stay Updated
Keep up with SEO and content marketing trends, tools, and industry standards.
