Join Our Team as a Nursery Practitioner - Level 2!

Hours: 40 hours - 4.5 days per week

Salary: £13.08 per hour

We are on the lookout for a passionate Level 2 Practitioner to join our dedicated team on a permanent basis. You’ll be part of a nurturing environment that caters to children from 0-5 years, as well as an out-of-school club for kids up to 12 years old. Depending on your strengths, you’ll either work with our little ones aged 0-3 or support preschool and out-of-school children aged 3-12.

Your Responsibilities

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to each child's age and development stage.
  • Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery.
  • Support the smooth running of the nursery and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships, reporting any concerns to management.
  • Facilitate a strong key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to stay updated on key priorities and company policies.
What We’re Looking For

Requirements and Skills:

  • Full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification – essential
  • Fluent in written and spoken English – essential
  • Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years – desirable
  • Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements – desirable
