At Play Away Day Nurseries, we are looking for a dedicated SEND 1:1 Support to join our vibrant team! You will play a crucial role in supporting children’s development through engaging sensory play and activities, while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Located in the heart of Southampton, our nursery is Ofsted-rated Good (January 2023) and provides quality care for children aged 3 months to 5 years. With convenient access to public transport and parking, we are easily reachable!

As a SEND 1:1 Support, your main responsibilities will include:
- Creating stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to each child's age and development stage.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery.
- Ensuring the smooth running of daily activities while prioritizing the safety and well-being of children, staff, and families.
- Building professional relationships and reporting any concerns to management in line with company policies.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- SEN Experience: Desirable but not essential.
- Fluency in English: Essential for effective communication.
- Experience in Early Years: Desirable.
