JOB SUMMARY:
This role will ensure the quality of products and services, while identifying areas for improvement and aid in implementing new methods. The Quality Technician will inspect, test, and evaluate products and services to confirm that they represent the Johnson Thermal Systems Quality Management System.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify and communicate quality or compliance-related concerns to the Quality Manager as soon as they are recognized.
Develop and maintain job inspection reports and oversee that they are properly and consistently used.
Analyze data and results from various inspections and tests that are conducted.
Understand and explain complex technical information to various department reps.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws.
Enthusiastically participate in ongoing improvement efforts at all levels
Maintain calibration records of quality control equipment.
Follow all company standards and specifications.
Effectively manage time to meet deadlines and complete daily required tasks.
Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Assist in inspections of products to assure customer requirements are met.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.
2+ years of inspection and/or production experience
desired
OR any combination of education and experience
that demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties (required)
Experience documenting, recording, reporting, and gathering evidence pertaining to quality control functions.
Experience interpreting and implementing ISO standards and document control.
Proficient utilizing computers including all Microsoft suite products.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Shows the utmost respect for others and is a proven team player
Knowledge of jobsite safety and ability to always ensure a safe workplace.
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for defects
Experience working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Working with little or no supervision, and coordinating efforts with others
Showcase your collaboration skills with all levels and all areas
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Ability to analyze and interpret information.
