Component Prep Clerk 2nd Shift Plus Differential

Job Description

SoPark Corporation, a contract electronics service provider supplying OEM’s with printed circuit board and electromechanical assemblies, is looking for an Inventory/Component Prep Clerk to supply manufacturing with materials for production.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for following processes and procedures to prepare components according to customer and engineering specifications to ensure maximum productivity and quality while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read procedures to identify material preparation requirements.
• Operate related machines or hand-held tools to cut, trim, and form components as required.
• Perform component modifications.
• Supplies information updates for all departments, as necessary.
• Enters data into the computer system as required.
• Update inventory kits and associated paperwork.

Education and/or Experience Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills required:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills

Education/Experience/Skills Desired but not required:

• Six months’ related experience and/or training is a plus.
• Experience with handling electronic components is a plus.

Physical requirements/Essential Functions:

• Regularly required to sit/stand for extended periods
• Have good hand dexterity and ability to reach with hands/arms.
• Specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to lift between 10 and 25 pounds.
