Description
The Data Security Analyst is responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to protect organizational data from unauthorized access, breaches, and cyber threats. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and enhancing data security controls, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations, and assisting in incident response efforts. The position requires expertise in data protection strategies, security risk assessments, encryption methods, and access control management to safeguard sensitive information across the enterprise.
PEOPLE - 30%
Develop policies to ensure end-to-end data protection across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
Support the development and enforcement of data security policies and procedures.
Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity teams, and stakeholders to strengthen data protection measures.
Provide security awareness training to employees on best practices for data security.
SERVICE - 30%
Implement data classification, labeling, and protection strategies to safeguard sensitive information across systems and platforms.
Conduct security risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities related to data storage, transmission, and access.
Implement data encryption, access controls, and authentication mechanisms to safeguard sensitive information.
Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and incidents related to data security.
Assist in the investigation and mitigation of data breaches and cybersecurity incidents.
Support data loss prevention (DLP) policies and deploy tools to prevent unauthorized data access or leakage.

Ensures compliance with internal cybersecurity policies and industry standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
