In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Lead the development and implementation of our Tech Expert chatbot, including

prompt engineering

,

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) optimization

, and

model fine-tuning

Design and implement AI systems using frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow

Implement

PEFT techniques

such as

LoRA

and

QLoRA

to fine-tune models efficiently

Optimize

transformer architectures

using quantization and low-rank adaptation methods

Develop scalable data pipelines for model training and inference

Implement MLOps practices including monitoring, versioning, and automated testing

Contribute to AI strategies and roadmaps for future initiatives

Ensure AI systems comply with data privacy regulations

Lead technical design discussions and mentor junior developers

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions

Communicate complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders

For This Role, You Will Need:

BS

in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field

Minimum four (4+) years of relevant experience

Demonstrated expertise in large language models, RAG systems, and PEFT fine-tuning techniques

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

MS

in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field

Relevant experience in AI/ML, focusing on NLP and conversational AI

Experience with MLOps practices and model evaluation metrics

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the salary range for this role is $102,783-119,913 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
