In a role where you define, design, and scale a secure, high-performance, multi-site infrastructure supporting aerospace and defense operations? Fully responsible for the full lifecycle of network infrastructure, including design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement across enterprise, inter-site, manufacturing, lab/test, mission-critical, data center, and cloud-adjacent environments. Main responsibilities: Own network architecture and design decisions within assigned domains (sites, network tiers, or functional areas). Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including Layer 2/3 switching, routing, segmentation, wireless, and WAN connectivity. Own the operational health of assigned network environments, including availability, performance, and fault isolation. Implement network security controls in partnership with Security and Compliance teams. Operate networks in regulated environments aligned with ITAR, NIST 800-171, CMMC, and similar requirements. Apply automation and scripting (for example Ansible, Python, Terraform) to improve consistency, reliability, and operational efficiency. What do you need to bring to the role? Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCIE, or equivalent advanced hands-on experience Expert knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking technologies including VLANs, trunking, STP, link aggregation, OSPF, and BGP. Hands-on experience designing and deploying high-availability architectures (HSRP/VRRP, MLAG, stacking). Be highly self-motivated An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Last but not least: Role is a full-time position, hybrid 3 days a week in the office, and based in Los Angeles Salary is up to $220k base plus stock options and excellent benefits including but not limited to medical, vision & dental coverage and a 401(k) retirement plan Relocation package is available US citizenship is mandatory for this role
