QA automation engineers design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios. Designing documentation for automated processes.
The QA Engineer Automated is an Information Technology (IT) position and will provide testing services for the mandated enhancements of the Childcare Licensing Automation Support System (CLASS), Public Provider Portal and Classmate. This position will create test cases and scripts for functional and nonfunctional requirements, prepare test data, execute test scripts, analyze data, support user acceptance testing, and provide defect triaging.
20% travel into the office is required

Years Required/Preferred Experience
8 Required Strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users.
8 Required Strong background in developing test suites in UFT or similar tool.
8 Required Skilled with Database query languages (SQL, PL/SQL)
6 Preferred Skilled in developing Requirements Traceability Matrices.
6 Preferred Skilled in developing and executing Test Scripts
6 Preferred Skilled in developing Test Plans and coordinating User Acceptance Testing
6 Preferred Experience with general IT SDLC processes.
4 Preferred Experience using JIRA for managing project/sprint tasks.
4 Preferred Working in a Agile SDLC environment
4 Preferred Experience using Jira to track work assignments.
1 Preferred Experience working on projects utilizing agile project management methodologies.
Position Details:
Pay Rate / Range:$55-$65
The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
