About
My client, a world renowned PE firm, is building a new Fund Finance Analytics team, designed to be the analytical engine sitting alongside our Fund Finance function.
This team will sit at the intersection of finance, data, and strategy, turning fund-level financial information into clear, consistent, and actionable insight for leadership across the firm.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how they understand and communicate fund performance across the platform. Working closely with Fund Finance Operations, senior leadership, and Client Capital Formation, you’ll help build the reporting, benchmarking, and analytical frameworks that drive better decision‑making across all funds.
What you’ll be doing:
Partnering with leadership to define and build best‑in‑class fund analytics and reporting standards
Developing and maintaining core reporting packs (e.g., position reporting, subscription facility usage, gross‑to‑net bridges, and other fund‑level insights)
Creating consistency and comparability across funds, enabling meaningful benchmarking across strategies and vintages
Performing cross‑fund and, where available, external peer analysis to surface trends, risks, and opportunities
Supporting ongoing reviews of industry best practices to continuously evolve our reporting and analytics approach
Handling ad hoc analytical requests from senior stakeholders, often translating ambiguous questions into structured insights
Collaborating with Finance Ops to help inform process improvements and better understand underlying mechanics where relevant
What they're looking for:
2–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, consulting, or a related analytical role
Strong grounding in financial analysis, modeling, and data interpretation
Ability to distill complex financial information into clear, executive‑ready insights and recommendations
Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint communication ability
A highly detail‑oriented, structured thinker who thrives in fast‑moving, sometimes ambiguous environments
Comfortable working independently while building strong relationships across multiple teams
Naturally curious, with a mindset that challenges existing approaches while still being highly collaborative and professional
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
Please note: this role is 3 days in office and 2 days working from home.
Compensation is very strong, with a discretionary bonus available too.
