Responsibilities
- Develop, run, and maintain a Linux-based C++ simulator used to execute and validate NR baseband DSP algorithms.
- Build and refine system models in line with 3GPP standards and internal technical specifications.
- Design and implement performance validation tests (e.g., packet error rate, detection/false alarm probabilities, statistical analysis) using Python.
- Analyse and interpret simulation results using Python and MATLAB to assess system performance.
- Investigate and resolve performance or configuration issues observed in lab and real-world environments, while documenting findings in detailed reports.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of wireless DSP concepts, including OFDM, channel estimation, synchronization (timing/frequency), FFT processing, and NR physical channels/signals.
- Solid knowledge of 3GPP NR physical layer specifications (LTE knowledge is a plus).
- Proficiency in programming and analysis tools, particularly C++, Python, and MATLAB.
- Experience developing meaningful test cases and evaluating system-level performance metrics.
- Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field, with approximately 6+ years of relevant industry experience in wireless communications or signal processing. xcfaprz
