Job Description
Position Summary
The Business Analyst of IT (Information Technology) Strategy & Portfolio Management will be responsible for driving cross-functional special projects and initiatives, supporting our overall IT planning capability, and owning core processes to support the overall success of our IT department. The primary day-to-day focus of the role will be working collaboratively with cross-functional teams on initiative-based execution, driving process standardization and efficiencies, and supporting the establishment of project and portfolio governance best practices. An entrepreneurial, cross-functional attitude to team building and an adaptable approach to dealing with ambiguous work is key to success in this role.
Responsibilities
Lead the execution of special projects and initiatives across our IT programs
Clearly and actively communicate requirements, deliverables, timelines and budget status throughout program lifecycle
Ensure cross- functional alignment of milestones and timelines for successful deployment
Track schedules, update reports and communicate program status to key stakeholders throughout the corporate organization
Create clear, concise deliverables and business cases for program initiatives
Contribute to cross-functional work teams and foster close partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders
Manage vendor expectations, RFP/RFI processes, and engage in vendor evaluations
Support core IT portfolio processes related to collaborative planning and tracking
Ensure end results are of the highest caliber with clearly articulated success measures and quantifiable benefits
Build and manage stakeholder relationships with business partners, users, vendors, customers, project team members and management leaders
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Required
Bachelor’s degree in related area preferred
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Business Analysis
Experience in a variety of technology-based projects or programs
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and effectively manage relationships with stakeholders, senior management and staff working independently or as part of a team
Working knowledge in project and budget management
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead conversations and create stakeholder engagement with clients and colleagues across an organizational hierarchy
Strong demonstrated ability in PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project and other Microsoft tools to develop strategies, status reports, and initiative summaries
Comfort utilizing Agile and Lean methodologies to navigate a matrix organization effectively with solid influencing skills
Compensation
Salary type: Exempt
Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
Annual Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000
Annual Bonus: 15%
